All the latest attacks by captive lions on folks were not ‘unprovoked’. Man provokes, nature replies – and then man tries to blame nature.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic death of one bloke and the serious injuries sustained by his friend when they were attacked by run-away White Lions near Hoedspruit in January. Note that these lions were imprisoned. They were hand raised, and used commercially by Lion Tree Top Lodge for a “Walking with Lions” familiarity offered to guests, counting young children.
