Parents have spoken of their horror after they claim they also observed penguins left in a tank without water at South Lakes Safari Park
A horrified female has shared shocking images from a scandal-ridden zoo where 500 animals have died in just four years and a keeper was mauled to death.
Mum Laura Ainsworth, 21, said that a giraffe’s ears and horns were bleeding when she visited South Lakes Safari Park in Cumbria, adding that she was worried about the size of their enclosures.
Two other parents claimed that they observed penguins left in a tank without water.
Laura, from Bolton, Greater Manchester, said: “South Lakes Zoo was awful. There seemed to be no respect for animal welfare at all.
